INDEXER NOTES (SPOILERS!)
• Credits—The form of Asimov’s name, Айзек Азимов, is taken from Soviet Movies Online where it appears in the Russian accusative case (in “based on the novel by Isaac Asimov,,” the accusative form of his name is Айзека Азимова rather than Айзек Азимов). We have also take the Russian spellings of the other names from the credits (Будимир Метальников and Андрей Ермаш).
• Release in the USSR—We have no details on the 1987 release in the USSR.
• Release in East Germany—According to bluefox01’s review on the IMDb, the first release (in East Germany) was broadcast in several episodes with German subtitles. It may have been just two episodes, though, since the posting of the film on Youtube has just Part 1 and Part 2.
