The movie had some good one-liners and even some good (albeit worn) puns in the style of the
original cartoon, but for me, the plot lacked even enough structure to hold the attention of
a child and the writer was writing down to his audience so much so that not even Patrick
Warburton’s voice in a small part was sufficient to rescue the story from the fast-forward
button.
Very well, then: If a boy can adopt a dog, the I see no reason why a dog can’t adopt a
boy.
